The National Gallery, London, houses one of the greatest collections of Western European paintings in the world. The collection comprises works ranging from 1250 to around 1900. It was established in 1824 to give every person in the country the opportunity to experience these great pictures. It is free of charge and each year is visited by almost five million people.
National Gallery products generate valuable revenue for the gallery, to ensure that future generations are able to enjoy the paintings as we do today.
This jigsaw puzzle features the following painting: Bathers at Asnieres (detail), 1884, by George Seurat. Bathers at Asnieres contains elements of Impressionism as well employing the newer painting technique of Pointillism.
